The value is not really in the fluid that gets changed. It is in someone competent looking at the whole vehicle on a regular basis and catching things while they are still small.

What the Inspection Actually Covers
A multi-point inspection is only worth having if someone genuinely looks. The car is already on the lift and the wheels are often already off, which makes it the cheapest opportunity all year to see the parts nobody sees.

- Suspension and steering joints, bushings and dampers, checked for play and leaks
- Tire tread depth and wear pattern across all four
- Belts, hoses, fluid levels and condition, and the underbody and exhaust for corrosion
Findings come to you sorted into what needs doing now, what should be planned for, and what is simply worth knowing about. Very little on a car goes from fine to urgent without passing through a stage where somebody could have seen it coming.
Why the Schedule Looks the Way It Does

Engine oil and filter
The shortest interval on the car, because oil is doing the most work. Modern synthetics stretch it considerably, and how you drive changes it more than most people expect. Short trips in winter are harder on oil than long highway miles.

Coolant
Coolant is mostly a corrosion inhibitor that happens to move heat. Those additives deplete on a timescale, so coolant is one of the fluids where age matters as much as mileage and neglect quietly attacks the cooling system from inside.

Transmission fluid
A fluid and filter service at the published interval is among the highest-value maintenance there is, because transmissions are expensive and they are unforgiving about burnt fluid. Some manufacturers call theirs lifetime. It is worth asking whose lifetime they meant.

Brake fluid
Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air over time, which lowers its boiling point and corrodes the system from the inside. It is tested on condition rather than recommended off a calendar.

Filters
Engine air and cabin air filters are cheap, quick and easy to inspect on the spot. If yours does not need replacing we will say so, which is the whole point of looking at it rather than selling it on schedule.

No. You are entitled to have scheduled maintenance carried out at an independent shop without losing your warranty, provided the work follows the manufacturer's schedule and the correct specifications are used. Keep your receipts. That record is what demonstrates the car was maintained as required.
Transmission service here means a fluid and filter service at the published interval. We do not open, rebuild or replace transmissions. That is specialist work and we would rather point you to someone who does it properly than take it on and learn on your vehicle.
Whatever your manufacturer specifies, adjusted for how you drive. The three thousand mile rule is a leftover from a different era of oil. Modern synthetics in a modern engine typically go a great deal further, though frequent short trips and hard winters shorten it. If your car has an oil life monitor, it is usually worth trusting.
It depends entirely on what is in it. A package that is genuinely built from your manufacturer's schedule is worth having. One that is the same list of flushes sold to every car that comes through the door is not. Ask what is included and why. Any shop worth using can answer that specifically for your vehicle.
It is true for a definition of lifetime that may be shorter than how long you intend to keep the car. Fluids degrade with heat and use regardless of what the label says. For a vehicle you plan to run well past its warranty, servicing those fluids is cheap insurance against a repair that is anything but.
For an oil change or a rotation, usually yes. A larger milestone service takes longer and is better dropped off. Call ahead either way. This is a one-technician shop, so scheduling is what makes the difference between your car being worked on and your car being parked.
